Dean's of Huntly
It was over 30 years ago when Huntly's own domestic goddess Helen Dean started baking shortbread to raise funds for the local pipe band. Having come a long way from its homely beginnings in the family kitchen, Dean's of Huntly continue to bake traditional Scottish Shortbread using Helen's original recipe. Tesco found the shortbread so delicious that they selected Dean's to produce Tesco's Finest* shortbread.

Farne Salmon & Trout Ltd
Established in 1982 with six members of staff, Farne's factory in Duns is now amongst the biggest smoked salmon facilities in Europe. Quaker Oats
Quaker has been milling oats since 1899. All its oats are milled at Cupar in Fife and all electricity used is from renewable energy sources. For over 100 years, Sangs of Banff have been producing soft drinks from their base at Macduff on the Moray Firth Coast of North East Scotland.
